About Viva Filipino

This page is being written. The short version:

We are a Filipino-American family living the life this site is about: aging parents in the Philippines, careers and kids in the United States, and all the caregiving, money, and paperwork questions that come with an ocean in between.

Everything here comes from working through these problems ourselves, with family on both sides of the ocean — in Manila, in Davao, and here in the States.

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or financial advice. Care decisions belong with your parent's own doctor; money and property decisions belong with professionals licensed where you live.
